New Blog Design Coming!

Hey guys,

I know I’ve been a little bit quiet lately and it’s because I’ve been putting together a brand new blog for our community here at BuzzBlogger.com. We really need a new coat of paint around here :)

So I thought I’d give you a quick sneak peek at the new design – which should be rolling out at the beginning of next week.

Let me know what you think!

However, keep in mind that our main aim is not necessarily to make tons of money – it’s to help tons of people.

Money is simply a by-product of the value you provide.

  1. Hi Kim,

I am also planning to change my blog design using thesis theme. But my only concern is my search engine ranking. I am scared that it could be affected. Do you think changing from my regular Thrilling Theme to Thesis would impact my ranking?

    Thanks.

      • I’m currently using The All in One SEO plug. I’m aware that the Thesis theme has it’s own fields for Title, description and meta tags. Do I have to manually copy the entries from All in one seo fields to the Thesis fields?

  2. I guess I’ll be the odd man out here, but I think the green header isn’t very attractive. Green is often a bad choice anyway, and that’s a shade that says ‘military’ more than ‘money’, I’m afraid….but, your caricature is great anyway!

    • Hey Bruce,

      Thanks for the feedback.

I definitely appreciate any and all feedback :)

I have to say though I like the green personally.

I wanted to stay with the current color theme we have going.

  4. Hi Kim:

Love the new design! The cool social networks icons on the right makes it very user-friendly for all of your visitors to share your content with their friends and followers.

Keep up the good work, my friend!

  5. Hi Kim, I like the boxes under the header, but I slightly prefer the logo as it is now, but only as I love the bright green Web 2.0 text. The new header is also cool.

I like the green, and don’t find it depressing – fellas, don’t forget actors have a “green room” to relax in. The main thing is that the content is clear to read.

  6. Hey Kim, I really love your work but not the new site (sorry), I would of want to see something more crisp… It looks like a template that lots of people already have.

Please don’t get me wrong here; it is nice but I was expecting a bit more.

  7. Kim I love your new design, I do like the old logo better, but this new design I believe will brand you very well, and provide a very welcoming first impression.

    Nicely Done.

  8. Agree with Adrienne, looks good Kim. I maybe would have used a lighter green shade with gradient, but hey I’m just a nit picker :D

  9. Hi Kim,

I LOVE the new layout! It’s crisp and clean and has a very sophisticated look. I especially like the 3 header boxes. They are much easier to see and read. I suspect this layout will attract even more subscribers.

I also like the wider column for the blog content and I LOVE the nice large fonts for the post titles!

I can’t wait to see it LIVE and in action!

PS. I am happy to see that you stayed with the green format. It’s your signature color… and always LOVE the caricature!

  10. Hi Kim,

I think it does look cleaner and very professional. Well done as always! A nice look. One thing I have always wanted on the site is indication of a clear, step by step system to get started (and maybe an additional step by step program more advanced people) with my online business.
In other words, once I’ve signed up for the membership, here is exactly what I should be doing to create my affiliate business, as that is the main reason a newcomer (especially) would be willing to pay for a monthly membership site.
Don’t get me wrong, the quality of the info you do offer is great – well organized and clearly explained. But I don’t know where to start and I tend to prefer step by step formulas so, perhaps more than most folks, I need direction :-). Thanks for listening Kim. Looking forward to the new look!
